The 73 rd Miss Universe which took place in Mexico can be regarded as the history-making one as the 21-years old Victoria Kjaer from Denmark was awarded the title. It has been the first time ever Denmark clinched the prestigious title of champions.

María Fernanda Beltrán from Mexico and Cnidimma Adetshina from Nigeria came close, second and third respectively.

India’s Rhea Singha Misses Top 12

Rhea Singha of India does not get into the top 12. India was presented by Miss World India last year Rhea Singha, 19 year old from Gujarat. Despite having an impressive show whereby she excelled in the first 30. Even though she reached the top 30, she failed to clinch a spot in top twelve. Rhea, who began her modeling career at 16, has won titles like Miss Teen Earth 2023 and Diva’s Miss Teen Gujarat 2020. She won the title of Miss Universe India 2024 in September after competing with 51 candidates. Rhea is also a TEDx speaker, an actor, and also a fitness model.

Competition Highlights

The first final twelve was determined by the swimsuit competition in the semifinals. They later participated in the evening gown segment where they wore very elegant dresses and each dress reflecting artistically the culture of the respective country.

They originated from countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Denmark, Nigeria, Thailand, and Canada and among them, seven were from Latin America. In the last round, aspirants were posed questions in a bid to measure their IQ and how well they can address challenging circumstances. Victoria Kjaer of Denmark impressed both with her answers and persona, she deserved to be a queen.

A historic victory for Denmark

It is very special for Denmark since this is the first time it has won that title and it was achieved by Victoria Kjaer. She came out as a confident, intelligent and culturally significant player especially among the girls from different parts of the world. The Miss Universe 2024 pageant honored the beauty, inclusiveness, and strength of women all around the world and motivated millions by the stories of the winners.
